Interior projection:

Knut Klaßen & Carsten Krohn "Passage through the House. Georg Heinrich's architectural sculpture structure", 2008, 58 min

Sarah grew up in the Märkisches Viertel. She begins to explore the work of the architect of this West Berlin settlement and decides to visit his buildings. The architect Georg Heinrichs lives in a house that reflects the nature of its occupant like no other. It is a universe of art, design, proportion and morality. He sums up his life and comes to the conclusion that it cannot be surpassed in irrationality and absurdity.

The film Passage through the House by Knut Klaßen and Carsten Krohn, is dedicated to the work and life of the architect Georg Heinrichs (*1926). Among other things, he planned and built the Forum Steglitz, the Märkisches Viertel and the motorway superstructure on Schlangenbader Straße.

Outside projection:

Hartmut Bitomksy "Imaginary Architecture - The Master Builder Hans Scharoun", 1993, 60 min

The life and work of Hans Scharoun (1893-1972) is traced by means of selected architectural examples. The film brings the viewers closer to an architecture characterized by transparency, which still amazes with structural surprises. It was precisely through the comprehensive integration of different areas of life that this architectural utopia attempted to do justice to man himself - and not to reproduce him at will. With his concentrated and very functional film language, Hartmut Bitomsky presents himself as a relative in the spirit of Scharoun.
